ABSTRACT
The sterilization process in tissue culture is carried out to avoid contamination, one of which can be done using hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂). H₂O₂ has the main function as an oxidizer that kills fungi and bacteria. This study aims to identify the role of H₂O₂ as a sterilization agent in bioreactor media for the growth of Dendrobium sp. orchid seedlings induced by oxygen nanobubbles (NBsO₂). NBs are nanoscale gas bubbles measuring less than 100 nm in size. Qualitative data analysis is presented alongside research results in the form of images and graphs. Meanwhile, quantitative data analysis was conducted by processing observational data using analysis of variance (ANOVA). When statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) were observed, further analyses were conducted using the Bonferroni and Games–Howell tests. The MN treatment (MS + NBs) or combination treatment showed good results for the plant survival rate parameter with a value of 100% and plant height with a height of 1.4 cm. For the plant weight parameter, the highest result was obtained from the M treatment (MS) with a weight of 0.104 g.
